Iranian woman goes naked in protest against the regime

The concept of "morality police" is a contrived ideological exonym. It serves as a pejorative, designed by the ever-so self-promoting West, that by definition assumes a secular ground for where police work is carried out, through such ignorance, ironically viewing ethical policing as an unnatural infringement on this elusive concept of rights of one's body by rudely interjecting Western liberal thought and norms to attack a nation's moral coherence. It typically tries to universalize standards in White countries as a central order of accepted human conduct, forcing within it the role of police.

Iran does not have a "morality police." Decency laws and the policing of such have been integral parts of guiding human conduct within the law-enforcement institution in Iran. Processes such as these were historically distinct from what's etched in the order maintenance agencies in Europe. As such, we cannot characterize it as an alien, or rather, an intrusive aspect of policing that the term "morality police" imposes, as it is an extraneous facet attached to something devoid of Islamic impulse.

Case in point, the conditions for what constitutes morality and the role and philosophy of the law enforcement authority are drastically different in Iran. Nations that have Islamic history never had an endemic policing that was strictly civil like you have in Europe. It was always an extension of religious authority that wanted to maintain a comprehensive regulation of public moral oversight.

A lot of these Iranian activists know this full well, but they want to promote the West and play into the hearts of these cadaans like fools. Further, you can't trust any of them. Most work for American and Israeli agencies as collaborators. Social media is a cesspool of intelligence agencies trying to shift attitudes and public opinion.

That's cause prostitution is somewhat legalized under "Mut'ah marriages in both Iran and Iraq(big shia population). There are folks/notaries who arrange such marriages. The marriage can last a few minutes, hours, days months or years. You choose the lady, pay and get the contract, agree on the contents of the contract then sign. Voila enjoy your halal(shia) mut'ah وتمتع

You do know that the Sahabi Ibn Abbas believed in the permissibility of Mutah? Many of the Sahaba and Tabieen did as well.

So you should be careful with what you say.

there is a difference between feminism and public indecency. These types of women are the reason people don't take us seriously 🙄 how annoying.

Are you shia? All sunni sects prohibit it. Plus it's abused in both Iran and Iraq, countless reports show it is practically made into halal prostitution

Mutah is haram just cuz some sahabi believe that it is permissibility doesn't make halal
Also didn't Nabi Muhammad forbid it

I don’t believe Mutah is halal, but it’s a fiqh issue and it’s disrespectful to refer to it as prostitution. Many of the Sahaba were in Mutah marriage, are you saying their wives were prostitutes?

yes. our Prophet (saw) forbid it till the Day of Judgement. I think your getting confused because mutah was allowed during the beginning of Islam but was later abolished, just like how Allah made alcohol haram

Interesting take, are you sure it’s mut’ah or nikah al misyar?

Well i don’t think alcohol is halal, but there’s also a difference of opinion. That’s why some of the Sahaba, Tabieen and Abu Hanifa, believed that it’s fine to drink non grape derived alcohol as long as you don’t get drunk to the point you can’t walk, but being tipsy is okay.

Surely if the Prophet(saw) made it so clear and it’s so black and white to the point you know it for sure 1400 years later, then the most knowledgeable Sahaba wouldn’t have disputed over Mutah? They would have just listened to the Prophet right?

WOW! You know what, i'm gonna stop discussing anything with you because if you actually think alcohol isn't haram then i'm not gonna be able to get anything through your thick skull. Also do istighfar because the things your saying is sooo beyond bid'ah it has to be haram. May Allah guide, wa assalamu alaikum
