Let's be honest, the rest of the world views africans as incompetent beings who will die off if not "taken care of". Am I the only one who feels embarrassed to read another country has to pay Somali Gov salaries? seriously, were europeans and asians given some extra body part that we can compete with them? imagine being an adult having another grown man care for you

Africa is very embarrassing but I have deep respect for the Rwanda of today, Botswana, Namibia, Gabon, etc. Let's be glad we have these people in our continent since they lessen our embarassing situation. not by much since many of the south eastern countries were mainly developed by indians/europeans/chinese and the africans are at the bottom in their own country. I would hope somalia never becomes like those countries.

somalia already got billions in aid but where is it? what did hsm do with the billions he asked for? even the developments in hamar was mostly by local business men and diaspora going back as well as turkish investments. And it's the fact that these foreign powers are allowed to meddle makes the case in point.

You have to look at it from this point of view, every nation had it's glory days, and Africa is where kings queens and shit started and it ruled for a very long time, no civilization rules forever, every kingdom has it's time and unfortunately Africa as a whole isn't in it's glory.

But you must remember Africa as a continent is very huge and its got all the resources the world needs but it doesn't need any resources from any other continent. The problem is these developed nations spend billions of dollars to keep corrupt politicians in power so they can get basically free labor and resources.
