Is it harder to be a racial or religious minority?

I def think it’s harder to be a religious minority. 100%

Racism is a thing yes, but I feel like people are more likely to get along and feel a connection to each other if they have the same religious background.

I also think it’s the main reason a lot of Muslims feel out of place in the West and have a hard time calling it “home”, even when born and raised here. I never see Christian non white immigrants complaining about the West though, probs because the common religion makes them feel comfortable.

Thoughts?

Christianity in the west is dead the problem is that Muslims particularly Arabs move to extremely white areas like Michigan and wonder why there kid is wearing tight jeans Somalis move in groups so we don’t have this problem and build our own mini community like Cubans and Vietnamese

Religion doesn't mean anything. Humans are still going to be tribal and racism is a natural thing in nature. You can be the most religious and still experience racism in a society.

How is that possible when the west is increasingly becoming more diverse? This is just the Black and Muslim victimhood complex. Many have best or close friends from different backgrounds and feel totally at ease and at home in the west. Many Blacks and Muslims have main character syndrome and refuse to integrate, that's the problem.

Arabs have fully assimilated and in the process lost there religion there is nothing wrong with having your own “Chinatown ”but Somali version .Its easier to succeed when your around your own people and have your own immigrant community like cubans in Miami who have “little Havana ”

If you live in the southwest where Somalis and Muslims are few and far in between your gonna interact with mostly ajanabi but since most Somalis live in Minnesota our community has been able to thrive and retain our religion /culture since we’re around our own people more often
