Is it only me, or is Somaliland starting to resemble North Korea?

First how about common rule of law.Somaliland only jails people who are a danger to our peace and stability.Outside of that it is one of the most safest and democratic nations in Africa.Don't compare us with Somalia because of 2 cases.

Second,You are dreaming if you believe Kenya,Turkey,Qatar,AMISOM and America(blackwater) who are all operating within your borders like its no ones business will leave peacefully. You will be used, abused and discarded.

Lol, and why wouldn't rule of law exist in a peaceful Somalia? Only reason it doesn't now is because of the instability. Like i said, in a peaceful Somalia, SL would be no different from us. You'd have nothing to boast about. There's nothing extraordinary about you aside from peace.

Perhaps you're correct on that last point. Time will tell if that will be the case. Although AMISOM i'm certain won't be around forever. At some point, there will be braking point. And the Somali army won't forever be in shambles.

I'm for Greater Somalia but I respect the way Somaliland is holding down the fort while their nation-state is developing.

If only Xamar rounded up all the traitors and locked them up with Nigerians then we wouldn't have states looking to leave in the first place.

They have Done alot of great stuff with little resources But heres the thing in order to fix problems you have to be honest and admit there is a problem and than do something about it ignoring it wont do anyone good nor will it solve the problem at hand
When America, the number one superpower in the world, has similar problem with corruption like us it means we are doing fucking amazing.

Our number one priority now is to keep as much distance from the shithole Somalia and secure our peace, stability and borders. We are in no position to go easy on some traitors. Its the end of us if a terrorist group entered Somaliland.

What is extraordinary is that we are an isolated unrecognized de facto state who is somehow peaceful and stable who funds its own operating budget with no debt while Somalia,a sovereign nation, has a huge external debt and no unity between its federal states. There will never be peace in Somalia because PL,JL and Galmudug don't listen to FGS and never will.

An unrecognized state with debt? Foreign influences would have drowned you in debt had you been recognized in 1991. Your current unrecognized state has been what protected you, not some achievement on your own.

No country can be at war forever. I'll end it at that.

There goes your only argument for recognition. Enjoy being a poor mans North Korea.
Our argument for recognition was always about Self governance and economic interests. The democracy bullshit is something our politicians came up with to please the cadaans.I wish Somaliland became more like Turkey and based their democracy more on muslim authoritarian principles.:banderas:

Somaliland's argument for withdrawal from the union has nothing to do with whether we have arrest a dhoocil for speaking treason or not. The two things are not related.:wtfdis:

"We iz a peaceful and free democracy" has been your only argument for international recognition. The intl community won't give recognition to a poor African authoritarian state.

Somaliland will never join a again. Get that through your thick head. It doesn't matter if Somaliland is an authoritarian dictatorship or a gay/lesbian communist utopia, Reer Somaliland have said no to the dead carcass of a.:nahgirl:

I thought you were a unionist not too long ago. What an extreme turn you have taken. Even @Mercury, who himself is a secessionist, carries less cuqdaad within him.
