There are strong parallels between what is happening in the UK and the US. People are scared of socialism in America. If you had a job with bills to pay you would understand.

Well you would have heard the Labour Party which moved to the far left suffered a large loss tonight. People are saying it’s because they refused to back brexit and that his stance on socialism was toxic to the U.K. voter.

I wonder if this result has some lessons for the dems in the US. As someone who is left leaning I have to admit England and America are centre right countries. They just do not buy into socialism and do not like it.

Trump will get his majority in 2020 and if anyone is going to stop him it’s not going to be Bernie. I’m told by Americans that Bernie is popular in America, well that’s because the media and the corporate interests have not started with him. The safest ticket for me would be Joe Biden. Even though I believe he would not be able to beat Trump.

eh his numbers are doing poorly(infact least favorable president ever in his first term and many have flipped on him) and the economy is doing okay now but very volatile(will fall by November as all time highs precede lows) so it will be more to do with luck and how china plays, also the two candidates he won't be able to campaign against properly are Yang and sanders if they go head to head, he basically has no edge on them on the campaign trail like he would other cannidates
