Nairobi is really nice. But the rest of the country is no better than the rest of africa since everything is concentrated in Nairobi and some in mombasa. The sheer pervasiveness of the corruption took me by surprise. You have to pay bribes on the highway toll to the airport. They also set up random isbaaro with a car on the roads between cities and they'll detain you if you don't pay bribes
Kenya is nice if u are prepared to enjoy the tourist scenes, which means u have to have money to enjoy it
