Is niiko really a bantu dance?

Everyone on here says niiko is a bantu dance and that southern somalis picked it up from them or is this a cover up because y'all too ashamed to admit that somalis made this dance :cosbyhmm:

Mapouka is a West African booty shake and baikoko is a Tanzanian ass shake dance. The bantus of somalia thought Somali women of the south to dance for their husbands to sexually please them.

It's obviously a Bantu dance. Somali Bantus were most likely the ones who brought it over to southern Somalia hence why its mainly practiced there. Somalis & most other Cushites use the upper body to dance (dhaanto, eskista, buraanbur, etc) whilst Somali Bantus & most other West Africans/Bantus use the lower body (booty, hip movements, twerking, etc) to dance.

↑ This is the most likely reason where Niiko came from, no other way around it imo.

Ethiopians, Eritreans, and Djiboutians don't do this.

Likely through contact with the Swahili sphere did this practice entered Somalis.
