What would happen if Kenya/Ethiopia rolled these in, while also establishing air superiority? Wouldn't they just mow down any infantry?

Usually, armies abandon vulnerable spots and go to areas they can defend. Only place I can think of is parts of Puntland/Somaliland. Is there more to it?

Ethiopia has the geographic advantage over Kenya. They can roll down from the highlands not being slowed down by rivers, swampy areas, or wadis.

If these two start invading Somalia we would see a scenario like North and South Korea where the Shabelle river becomes the dividing line.

Yes, Somalia doesn't have much in the way of natural defences. So historically we've made up for it by being more aggressive and we would always strike first before the Ethiopians. A good offence is a good defence.

Outside of pockets in the north, its mostly lowland and very easy for an enemy army to cut clean through. It was demonstrated in 2006/07 when Ethiopians invaded and dispatched of the icu and made their way to Xamar in just a few days.

Only Ethiopia has the advantage of flat terrain, Kenya fortunately does not. AS thrives in forested, muddied areas which have little to no road infrastructure already so any Somali National Defence would have a great advantage anywhere in the jungles of Jubbooyinka.

Somalia is indefensible say for Somaliland, highland regions with a even distribution of population. This same geophraphy helped the SNA conquer and keep it during the Somaliland war of independence

The SNM from maydh n Erigavo fought the SNA from the mountains.

Won all their battles despite the enemy repeatedly shelling with artillery, they took out soldiers 1 by one picking them off. Heavy casualties were sustained though.

The current mayor of Erigavo was in that conflict, he got captured by a bunch of SNA who tied him to a tree and shot him a few times left him for dead someone found him barely conscious after and got flown out to UAE for treatment and Blood transfusion.
