In Minneapolis/Minnesota, the housing situation is a lot better than in London. At least they are getting their money's worth (decent size and clean) unlike the crap in London.

Vast majority of Somalis in the UK (~90%, maybe even higher) don't pay rent. The most popular type of social assistance there are housing benefits. They also received subsidized utility rates, not to mention rather generous stipends and even many even fake disabilities in their household to receive new vehicles all on the govt's tab.
Sickening levels of benefit fraud taking place in the UK. Subhanallah. Wallahi, most working-age Somalis in North America have jobs but in the UK you will see a whole family without even one person working. Sometimes, if there happens to be a father figure in the family, he will work as a bus driver while claiming to the govt that he isn't married so that the wife can still claim benefits. Then, they'll unlawfully combine his salary and the family's benefits.
Hopefully, Brexit brings many, many changes. Inshallah.
