What do you mean Ghetto? You mean somalis attend the college in greater numbers therefore it is a ghetto? Silly mindset.

The college has stellar reputation and good academic record. The U of MN accepts students from there right away because of the college's excellence in Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry plus Health related curriculum.


I would rather see Somalis in grreater numbers around me in higher ed institutions for the positive effect it has on their future. Still love me some ghetto.

Thats why the whole economic grievance theory doesn't add up. Ive heard even Dave Chappele offer this explanation on his 2nd SNL perfomance talking about how trump is popular with ''poor whites'' in Ohio.

But it's simply not true that they vote for Republican or even Trump due to economic hardships. Especially when those same president leaves them worse off and red states on average are pooerer than blue states but they keep voting them in.

Simple fact: Trump voters love their hate more than they care fixing their poverty and their lack of means to live decent. The southern states are dependent on tax payer money like mine to doll out the wellfare and medicaid help to their constituents who exclusively vote for a republican and conservative all the time since time immemorial. As long as ,in their mind, Minorities are being punished by the US government, and racism becomes the law of the land, they can endure the hardship of being poor, sick and ill-educated. America always contended with such people and that is why it took almost 200 years to gain equality for all US citizens. Now they are pushing back against the progress made vote by vote in every biennial and quadrennial.

economic grievance theory is true, but it’s because Trump swing voters tend to be well-off people from areas that are falling behind. like a car dealer who lives in an area where the only steel mill has closed down in the 90’s.

The best steps to save money on Education in Minnesota are as follows:

A- Be very smart in high-school and have 3.6 to 4.0 GPA to find free money and scholarships. This is if your family is well to do and above federal poverty level. Because you wouldn't qualify for financial aide, your excellent grades will help you apply for scholarships and save yourself from deep debt on education.


B- You are still smart and qualfiy for financial aide because of family income, Great! Do the following:

1- Enroll at Normandale Community College which has good relationship with the University of Minnesota regarding transfer credits. The University accepts many credits for many of its prestigious degrees if you went to Normandale Community College and did the course work with A or B+ Grades there.

2- Transfer your two year Credits to the U and Earn your Degree for half the money or even less that way.


Two of my relatives did that way for their four year degree at the U of MN. One did Computer Science and the Other Healthcare, and a third one is already accepted at the U. He has just One year or three semesters left for his Computer Science Degree. Majority if his course work were at Normandale.


Be smart to beat the Odds in America.

Step 1: Don’t study computer science unless you’re going to put in 6 hours a day studying + grinding for internships. Although there are a lot of DEI ways to get an internship you will hardly see a return offer.

Too many niggas doing computer science and don’t understand that you HAVE to be cracked or else you’re never getting a job and your degree will eventually be useless if you don’t find a job in the field within a year of graduating.

They’re saying it’s ghetto because a lot of YN adjacents are there. Mostly every Somali student signs up for community college if they didn’t get accepted to uni due to grades. So it’s going to range from kids with a 1.5 gpa up to smart PSEO kids. Although the YN adjacent kids didn’t fully die meaning no future they still lack in direction and have the high school mentality.

Your advice plus everyone has their fate/destiny waiting for them ahead. Sometimes People don't realize that every human being on earth has their course charted for them, from where they will earn money from to where they will die, so holding your fate to others is just silly. Do what you like and get what is yours as a person is the best approach.

Actually No. Even if a high schooler graduates with top GPA, it is better to start in Community college to do the generals/prerequisites for their degree. Community college is more relaxed, cheaper and more helpful to students because of the small class size.

I have seen 100 plus students in Cal I class at the U and I was like f*ck, where do I sit? Same with Cal based Physics I. The professor devides the class into groups and each group gets assigned a TA, so sometimes you are not getting your money's worth of attention for a help you need. All general classes like General Chemistry, Biology 101 etc would be full to the Gill because Every jack and jessica needs to take them.

Compare that to Normandale, way smaller class size. I have seen students struggle at the U then go Community College to do the same class over there and do better. One can say the U is harder, but at NCC, they actually teach the same textbook sometimes and the professors at Normandale are of the same calibre, just the necessary attention you require to succeed is different between the two school systems.

In any case, what is YN? You niggas? LOL. What is also "adjacent" relative to YN? Dude, am Old, so many of these new code-speak goes past me often.
