Factories can always be rebuilt, the frustration is the amount of time and skilled manpower that was lost. If we had that capacity three decades ago, imagine where the country would be today?!

Somalis have a weird inferiority complex and a weird superiority complex. we will not accept anyone looking down on us but when ppl look at stuff we find embarrassing like xaalada back home some somalis creep into disrespecting their own ppl like that.
the situation back home is while very sad also genuinely interesting. had it been a book or a movie the story would probably be well received due to it being multi-faceted. cant blame onlookers for watching. its sad that this is real life though and we're fighting due to differences in lineage etc but

One thing all stable countries have in common is that they have a pretty strong security apparatus. They don't mess around when it comes to keeping the country stable and peaceful. For example, in Saudi Arabia you can lose your head for being too strong critic of the government. Now this sounds barbaric and primitive but does it work? Yes. You can literally leave your car running with the doors open overnight and come back the next morning with your car untouched. In China, corruption is punishable by either super lengthy sentences or even death. Again, it sounds too harsh but does it work, yes it does!
All the chaotic countries in the world, ours included are missing this vital component. Somalia is a country that tolerates militias setting up camp to remove a sitting president like badbaado qaran did last year. I am not even a farmaajo fan, far from it, but I would support him right there and then if he killed all of them because it's things like that that's holding us back. Somalia is a country that not only tolerates bunch of uneducated clan militias but actively encourages it. We need a no ifs or maybes approach like the countries I mentioned. The stability and security of the country should come first, and when stupid clans rise up to stop that, then those stupid clan militias should be wiped out until we have people who understand the importance of having a stable country where we can settle in and invest in.
I am currently in Kenya(originally from the U.S.A) and I wouldn't be here if Somalia was stable. The Somalis from the west are settling here in massive numbers, and they are injecting billions of dollars in to this economy, all money that we could be using to invest in our country.
