Logically speaking there is no reason why they would fight Isaaq? What for? Appeasing the ego of clueless diaspora? Or non existing notion of Somalnimo? What's there waiting for them in Mogadishu to revolt for? They have fixed seats under 4.5 there is 0 motivation to fight Isaaq logically speaking. Even fighting for IOG to join his country doesn't make sense because Awdal is +60% of the population of Djibouti and that would make Sameroon the majority in Djibouti and thus threatened his hold on power.
I never understood why Somalians or Darood egging Sameroon to rise up against Isaaq. They're literally the V.P, second highest position in Somaliland and their regions are more developed than Isaaq eastern regions. In Somalia they have 9 seats out of 275, drop in a sea without any leverage. In Somaliland they have 13 seats out of 82 which is 15% much higher leverage and representation than Somalia. This weird irredentism never made sense to me. Off course Somaliland is not perfect but even the blind could see that Sameroon are better off in Somaliland than Somalia.
A lot of fallacies in what you're saying.
If the elders and political unit of the region come to an agreement to establish a seperate regional administration, it will be Isaaq who will come seeking war. And no one wants to join Djibouti. You made that up.
The VP position is merely ceremonial and bears no power. No one cares about any seats or these positions anymore. It's all about establishing a regional administration, not what you make it out to be about Mogadishu or anything else. Our land was developed solely by us. What does our development have to do with Eastern Isaaq?
