I worked at a masjid near my house last summer, just cleaning and stuff with another girl I’m friends with. One day this lady in a niqab who we’ve never seen before comes to the upstairs area (where the maalin has his office). She says salam to us and we do the same, then we don’t think much of it and keep cleaning. We’re mopping the hallway, and keep in mind this hallway is DARK. Like really dark and they didn’t want us to turn the light on cause they didn’t want a high electricity bill.
So we’re just mopping, talking, and out of no where we hear the loudest, deepest scream ever. It sounded like someone was dying it was the scariest sound I’ve ever heard subhanAllah. We dropped the brooms and dashed down the stairs, almost cracked our heads on that wet ass floor.
We’re sitting in the prayer area and the lady overseeing us is like “why did you guys stop cleaning?” and we were like “wtf did you not hear that??”. This woman just says “haa waan hilmaamay maanta naag jinni leh aa Macalinka Quran saarooya”
She told us it was the same lady in the niqab we saw earlier. She told us to go back upstairs and mop the hallway again so we went but then we heard the jinn speaking and then we ran away again and left to buy iced tea. Scary stuff
