I not only live around Somalis i have traveled to many Somali inhabited areas. The reception has always been good.I doubt you live around somalis but you can believe this. somalis and indians have the same level of rudeness and both groups have staring problems.
We are so unlike Indians, who swarm random white people when they visit them and stand around starring at them.
There is a white travel vlogger who visited both India/Pakistan and Somalia got totally separate treatment, nobody stared at him and people generally payed him no mind.
A prominent Arab YouTuber makes a video about how the Scottish tourist wasn’t treated like a celebrity during his visit to Somalia
He also points out how Somalis don’t have an inferiority complex and compares it to how South Asians and Arabs would film him and take pictures everywhere he went when he visited their countries, whereas he didn’t receive the same treatment in Somalia Go to the settings and turn on the...

You can hear it also from African who generally live around Somalis and any time people interview them, they say that we are friendly people and generous.
''Somalis are good people, they are generous, they are friendly and they know how to stay with visitors, there are only few who are Hostile - Many Somalis are Good''
It's just the general reputation we have:
This from a foreign British business group that has been operating in Somalia for years.
''Somalis are extremely open, friendly and hospitable. Strangers become friends before they become acquaintances. Returning the warmth and friendliness is an excellent way to gain trust.''
If acting like a rude public hooligan was a Somali thing you would have the entire internet literred with examples and reports, not just this 1 Johnny Somali habesha dude. You would also have many examples of Somalis tourits just being rude and locals complaining about like the way you see with the Chinese
