@Khaemwaset @Ibn Abdon @NidarNidar @Idilinaa @Galool @EyiPunter thoughts? Is it historically accurate?
Buttons on one side and the loop on the other tbh it would look better that way instead of buttons on both side
It's really well done but the Embroidery could have some work to it, but again, it's usually a difficult craft to do well. But generally the Jouke is very great for a first shot. The tassels are perfect and almost replicate of the ones you see Sultan Olol Diinle wear.
Maybe add a belt, It's also something the 21stCenturySultan forgot about. It would make it look more crisp
Post all the pics you got saved of jouke apparently @flocka_1 doesnt have much references to go by.

Honestly, I like this one more than the original because of the more intricate details. It does have some improvements. The circular design are actually more emboldened, and connect more to the frame behind it as of now it a bit more to the left. The buttons would look better in black so they blend in. Also, as @Khaemwaset mentioned, a belt would be a good addition as well.
Would the belt be woven in or would it be separate?
