Saying republicans promote lgbtq in a comparable way to dems is absolutely nuts.Republicans do tolerate and accept the idea of gays but they don’t promote it. They don’t place it in schools, they don’t accept the baseline ideology of transitioning and using the bathrooms of the opposite sex.

The reason they promote this in Muslim countries and the global south in general is to align them more to the west so that they can fall within US imperialism and they won’t fight back against it. Mexicans are friendly, socially-conservative, religion and family-oriented Catholics. Your average Mexican has never seen a Somali in their life and is utterly neutral, having no opinion, neither for nor against Somalis. Whites on the other hand.... many whites also have never seen a Somali and yet inexplicably hate Somalis and blame Somalis for crimes that have nothing to do with Somalis. This has to do with culture, I believe. Mexicans do not really care all that much about what goes on outside of Mexico and Latin America. Where I live, the local Latin area is an international tourist destination. It is safe, friendly and very aesthetic with a bunch of bright colors and artwork. There are tons of Latin areas that are safe.

I don't know anything about Hindus or Indians. But this idea that Somalis should be deeply concerned about Mexicans coming into the US....
