If you don't know, Karmel Mall is a massive economic hub for Somalis (think Asian market but for Somalis) located in Minneapolis, MN.
It's currently owned by Sabri Properties, some arab guy I've heard.
Recently, it's gone through some massive renovations to add more store spaces and expanded their parking. They bought up some pharmacy chain to add more space. They've also kept parking fee to $1 per hour, never been thankful, wallahi.
If you drive to Karmel Mall from the west, you'll see those 4 story 'luxury' boxy ass apartments slowly making it's way over to Karmel Mall. The type that charges you $1850 for a 600 square foot apartment and thin ass walls. example attached.
