This is old news. It has been known for a very long time that ethnic Somalis are 0% modern-day Arabian. Only some cringy Banu Hashim larpers refuse to accept this fact.

I refuse to believe this data..

First and foremost what was the purpose of this research?
Secondly who made the research?
Thirdly what was the sample ranch of the test subjects, in other words who and where were the tested Somalis in this research from? Are they a general representation of all Somalis or people who represent one group within the Somali ethic group in Ethiopia.. Can we verify the correctness of the test sample collection method used in this research?
There are many questions we should ask and verify before taking such tests seriously.

The Somalis they used in that study are Ethiopian Somalis and North-Central Somalis. They are representative of Somalis overall. But what is a little bit misleading is the name of the Cushitic cluster. It does not represent modern-day Cushites, but Cushites of 6,000-5,000 years ago who were much more North African/Middle Eastern-like than today's Cushites. The proto-Cushites (historical, extinct group) clustered near Upper Egyptians than with modern Horners. That's why the remainder of what ethnic Somalis get is Nilotic because they moved through Sudan to get to the Horn.
