Somalia was the world leading producer and exporter of pharmaceuticals in the 70s/80, before the the industry collapsed in 1991 in outbreak of the civil war

But they already relaunched a pharmaceutical factory and manufacturing recently in Mogadishu and Somalis have been exporting since last year and produces one million tablets of medicines per month. Be more updated.
