I have never heard of the Kore people in Lamu.
All I know about Lamu is a Bajuun settlement while the hinterland is settled by Boni people.
While Somali pastorilists do go for pastures.

Also Jomo Kenyatta settled his community from mount kenya in Laamu after giving them land in the 70s.

So maybe they are trying to justify Kikuyu settlements in Laamu.

The baajuuni are stretched from Mombasa all the way to Baraawe. They are a mix of Somalis,Arabs and Bantu.

Kismaayo it self is a Baajuni word meaning the place with fresh water wells.
