Ladies would you serenade your husband on wedding day?

These men on this thread are trying to gaslight me into thinking Somali men, given the chance ... will not marry a second wife.

My sspot compatriots, do you not know your own brethren?

Sis, don't listen to these clowns, in other threads the very ones who are gaslighting you are the ones that constantly talk about 2nd wives and will even defend the likes of a broke man marrying again and lying to his wife.

I love her confidence, glad that Halimos back home are showing their love on the big day. No more resting faces as is the norm:banderas:
This is extremely embarrassing and only unaware people think it’s romantic. It reeks of insecurity and overcompensating for something that’s truly lacking between them. From what I can tell, the lady is using him as a prop while she gets all the attention she is seeking. It’s not a good sign of a healthy relationship to me. Like someone else said, this could be done in private.

see, so far all the women on this tread have agreed that this isn't romantic. These men on here have an agenda. They are trying get us to embarrass ourselves. They want us to fawn over them, and put them on a pedestal in public. These serenade stuff are using things that men do for women. If you see some wedding videos even in other cultures, if there is some kind of serenade happening, it's usually the groom that sings or dances for the bride.

Trend is going viral

Well what do you expect from followers? If they’re weak enough to follow people when it comes to lightening their skin then acting this way in public will be no big deal to them. All the insecure people should pair up. I hope you find someone that suits you @TekNiKo

ladies iska jira! Don't serenade a man in public. If something ever happens in the marriage, everyone will bring up the time you serenade him. You're gonna wish that the ground would open up and swallow you whole. Save yourselves the embarrassment.

That's a bit of an exaggeration don't you think. I don't think people would bring up a wedding if a marriage doesn't work out.

I think these acts are up to the individuals. Some people are comfortable expressing their emotions in public. Some are not. Serenading someone is within the spectrum of that. It shouldn't be a necessary thing to do, but if someone wants to do it, it ain't a big deal.
