The subclan of Ciise Muuse that settle that area is called Maxamed Ciise, and they're nomadic. They settle from Sheikh to near Gaashaamo.

Something I learned after I visited back home about 2 years ago: Ciise Muuse is a large clan. They settle from Lughaya to Berbera to Gaashaamo near the Ethiopian border.

There's no Ciise Muuse in Gaashaamo district. A few Ciise Muuse families live with HY in Burco district but now they risk being evicted. Just today one of their tuulos was burned to the ground and the residents fled to Saaxil.

West of Berbera is Sacad Muuse. Bulaxaar has its own local government and is a grade D district. It's mayor and other local government officials are Sacad Muuse.

Nomadic groups migrate to different regions but they're never considered a real demographic group unless they also make up the majority of the settled population aswell.

Ciise Muuse are very much native to Burco and Togdheer. They always have councillors voted in the local government and they always have the xoghaye position in the Burco local council.

They are native to Burco but they are based in Berbera where they form a majority. What they were thinking starting war with a clan 8x their population in Togdheer. That is like Reer Xamar starting war with Abgaal in the middle of Mogadishu.
