I took two English classes during college and I realized that I actually can’t speak the language very well.

I am reading that this caused by being put in a environment were you are a minority and English is the dominant language (school) , and also your parents not interacting with you in your early years speaking to you in your mother tongue often, you end up only able to understand it but not be able to express af Somali. I find a lot of Somalis are like thia.

We’re you born in the west? Cause I am
And it’s weird that I am like this. English should be the language I am more profficent as I grew up amongst white people lol

I can understand that your Somali is not fluent but English? English has to be the easiest language to learn these days, if you wanna be able to speak English you need to start speaking in English. It's not my main language because I live in Sweden but the way I learned the language was mostly from youtube videos in English and talking to people. You seem to type well in English but you could be using a translator, do you live in an English speaking country if I may ask?
