Let’s reciprocate the same energy

One thing I’ve noticed is that Somalis speak extremely positively about Djibouti all the time. I’m all for supporting the development of anything Somali-related, Somali people from Somalia need to realise that we can't just go to Djibouti and become Djiboutian citizens.

So, when Somalia develops, we need to have the same energy for Djibouti. No Djiboutian citizen should be granted Somali citizenship unless they live in or have ties to mainland Somalia. We need to protect our sovereignty the same way they protect theirs.

What an L take. If Djibouti gave every Somali in Somalia citizenship who tf would wanna stay in Somalia. Plus reer cisse dominate the country why would they skew the clan demographics there. Plus it’s different if Somalia develops because the government should represent all Somalis regardless of borders, whereas Djibouti is just a French colony, Fatman won’t go against macron and why would he, Somalis have enjoyed continuous rule since djiboutis independence as long as we cuck the afars and the Arabs in that country we should be fine with their citizenship rules

It’s not about skewing clan demographics. The point is that Somalis from Somalia are Somali, and if Djibouti doesn’t want to give them citizenship based on Somalinimo, why should we provide them with citizenship based on that? As I said before, all we are doing is reciprocating their energy it’s nothing malicious 🤷🏽‍♀️ if Kenya can give Somalis citizenship and welcome them in Nairobi, why can’t Djibouti?

All of Somalias legitmacy is around Somali identity. If it wasnt for that factor we would have balkanized on many different occasions.
