Lip Hyperpigmentation

anyone else suffer from a darker upper lip? my lips are small so its not that noticeable but I've noticed a lot of somalis have very dark upper lips? why is this? My lips were both pink when I was younger but as an adult it's changed. Is there anyway to fix it?

Why would you want fix it I really like that my top and bottom are completely different it's not that common for the two to be completely different shades but I've seen it on somalis alot.
Me bottom lip is actually red not pink idk why I think my blood rushes close to my skin.
My family is split between half or just both darker pink

Mine ain’t very dark they’re kinda pinkish but different colours. I think all dark skin people have lips like that

it looks strange, my brothers don't have it but I do along with my parents. I think I would look better without it. It's my opinion though

Yes it is the only other people I've seen it on alot are south asians bit not as common as on somalis

Dark lips are beautiful. Do you really want light lips cuz they look ashy

Scrub your lips once a week. It wont change the color but it'll smooth them out, take away dry skin and make them more plump. My top and bottom are different too, but it's never bothered me just take care of what you have hun waa caadi

My lips have always been dark. I like them tbh. I have never known anything else. I think it looks good on my brown skin. Having pink lips would look weird. :/
