your right that would be around two million dollars worth of pkm machines guns that somalia got for free according to your estimate of each pkm costing 10 thousand which seems far fetched but my numbers where that each pkm costed a thousand dollars including the age limit and time of purchase which i rounded of to around thirty to forty k

well, in that case, Egypt donated around 200 k or roughly 100 k pkm light machine guns considering age, time of purchase which means we have 200 more technicals enough to equip an entire regiment

Teknikals aren't fitted with pkms, yes a pkm is a heavy machine gun to shoot and carry, but inorder to build teknikal you need suug or SG and Dshk minimum.

I hope these weapons are send to Gedo ASAP so they can start shooting down KDF planes.

as for the anti aircraft guns i think we will need a ZPU anti-aircraft gun for air defence not a dushka machine gun

Skinny niggas can't hold a pkm walahi. My cousin jumped off a truck with one and bounced it cut his colonel and long time father to him in half within seconds. You have to be very careful with that thing it can mow down hundreds of people easily

Man it aint about weight. He was inexperienced. But u are right about it mowing people. Its a handheld machine gun.

U can't mount that Zsu-23 on a pickup it needs a bm truck or iskarooge dump truck.
But those cost 150k an will bring planes down easily

BM2-Browning, SG, the russian WKM-BM these are multi-purpose and can be used against aircraft effectively as well as ground targets. They are also already available in Somalia if the government is willing to buy them.

PKM machine guns are not that cheap (much more expensive than a AK-47 which is $1000 each itself). It is usually mounted on pick up trucks across Africa & Middle east.

How did I miss this, thats definitely not a PKM, that looks like a russian WKM-BM, these are not cheap, and yes this is what teknikals are fitted with along with other heavy machine guns and anti-aircraft.

One of the first videos I saw from Caabudwaaq was my cousin on one of these pick up trucks, its not as cheap as you think, even the ammunition is hella expensive for this type of equipment, but its deadly with a long range, it can even shoot down air planes.

compare that heavy machine gun you can't lift with the PKM, this is Janan or Indhokorey shooting a PKM

No idea why Somaliland cries about Somalia receiving weapons do they think it will end up in the hands of Darood. It usually ends up in the hands of Hawiye/Rahanweyn SNA & Al shabab so no threat to Sland.

There's an arms embargo on Somalia though.

Somalis already have these types of weapons in endless supply. Not a game changer. If they were getting Mig 35s, T90 main battle tanks, self propelled horwitzer artillery, and air defense batteries such as Buk or S 400 then obviously than would be a game changer for sure. Not the list above.
