Some people are just weird. There was this guy that I used to work with that had a crush on a one of our co-workers. He tried to get her attention by being forceful in his approaches and just acting plain weird. They would sometimes gossip/complain about him to me. I think that this is one of the tactics of some guys; just keep on harassing girls until they like you.
It's very bizzare.
