Ictisaam is also prominent in Muqdisho, it is one of their hubs. They are the most widespread in Somalia generally. The Madkhalis are not prominent. I dont know too much about the internal dynamics in Somalia but from what I can see there are just a couple based in Hargeisa and who support the local government there, which is no surprise.

I also doubt they will ever become prominent in Somalia for the reasons you mentioned. madkhalis have been falling out of favour and the current genocide has exposed them to the wider community. If they didnt take hold up until now they never will.

I also did not know that about sh xassan, that is surprising.

In this thumbnail I recognize that two of them are from Hargeisa, one from Gaalkacyo and one from Muqdisho. But the one based in Muqdisho condemned those speaking negatively of Palestinians and their resistance so I am not sure of the details of the dispute with him.

You think it was coincidental that this Ruhayli sheikh makes an entire post about the Muslim brotherhood giving precedence to their leaders rather than the Palestinian people day after Sinwars death?

Madkhalis have been in a verbal war with the Palestinian resistance since the war started. The videos in this thread are ample prove of this. Why should we praise Muslim scholars for making dua for Palestinians-as if it is some kind of achievement and not a duty-while at the same they try to prevent Muslims from any kind of civic action for Palestinians and they make more sermons criticising (directly or indirectly) the Palestinian resistance than Zionists?These same scholars and madkhali Dawah people make sermons denouncing Muslims who denounce the Abraham accords as terrorists, so why should we give them brownie for making dua which is wajib for every Muslim.

The brother who started this thread literally posted videos of madkhalis celebrating the death of Sinwar and you’re asking what have they come up with which is different. Simple, name another group who has behaved like this during the last year?
