Stories like this make me appreciate my life more, like I could have been born in the worst circumstances possible but I wasn’t. I can’t believe I used to feel shitty about my appearance, family, mental health, friends, relationships, sexuality I can honestly go on, there is someone out there who can take all these problems in a heartbeat. Our problems is their happiness. How unfair is it that I am privileged enough to be presented with so many opportunities that another somali will never have simply because we were born in different geographical locations, but such is life.
