Man burning Quran outside the Turkish consulate in London attacked by knife-wielding elderly man.

What did the this guy expect? Islam is not like Christianity where everyone can get away with disrespecting the religion.

There are people who have no fear of potential consequences, if they perceive disrespect of the Quran or prophets.

In the past everyone understood this, but I think the Palestinian genocide has kind of emboldened Islamophobes recently.

Dadka Europe ku nool is ilaaliya. This is exactly what the far right want to see, the Muslim who has turned to violence running around with a knife, kicking and spitting on a man whilst he's down...whilst his fellow Muslim delivery driver joins in on the act.

This is what they want to spread, an idea of a clash of civilisations. That the Muslim is a danger, and a threat to western way of life. Forgetting that they colonised most of our countries, neocolonised us with puppet leaders and then destabilised us on the pretences of war on terror. Most Muslims in the west have immigrated in order to seek a better life, and just are on the grind thinking about the betterment of their childrens lives. But unfortunately the discourse is now turning into one in which Muslims are a third column/trojan horse in western society, an enemy that needs to be dealt with before it grows too strong.

Btw im not blaming the Muslim brother, most of us would lose our senses if we saw something like this. However, there is a game being played here and why these provocations keep on increasing. It would've been wiser to just forcefully take the Quran from the man and coldly tell him to have some respect for other people's faiths.

Muslims are easily triggered and manipulated. It's very sad.

Meanwhile, let's revisit how the Prophet SAW deal with extremely disrespectful people?

A Jewish woman used to throw trash at him daily. One day, she didn't, so he inquired and found out she was sick. He visited her, and she was so touched by his kindness that she accepted Islam.

The people of Ta’if rejected him, mocked him, and even sent children to throw stones at him. Instead of cursing them, he prayed for their guidance, saying:
"O Allah, guide my people, for they do not know."
(Reported in Bukhari and Muslim)

Islamophobes like to manipulate and trigger Muslims for fame and brownie points, and Muslims always take the bait. If Muslims responded with patience and wisdom, these people would look extremely stupid.

The Prophet SAW, always responded with patience and kindness and ended up winning over his enemies. But us Muslims, are hotheaded and impatient and willing to take the bait, all the time.

A Bedouin (a man from the desert) once entered Masjid al-Nabawi and, not knowing the etiquette, began urinating in a corner of the mosque. The companions of the Prophet ο·Ί became angry and rushed to stop him, but the Prophet ο·Ί calmly told them to let him finish.

The Prophet’s ο·Ί Response

Once the man was done, the Prophet ο·Ί gently called him over and said:
"The mosques are not places for filth or urine, but they are for the remembrance of Allah, prayer, and recitation of the Qur’an."
(Sahih Muslim, 285)

He then ordered some water to be poured over the area to clean it and let the man go without punishment or humiliation.

The Man’s Reaction

The Bedouin was so moved by the Prophet’s kindness that he made du’a, saying:
"O Allah, have mercy on me and Muhammad, and do not have mercy on anyone else!"
The Prophet ο·Ί smiled and said:
"You have made something vast (Allah’s mercy) narrow."
(Sunan Abi Dawood, 380)

Bro Gaalo will always see Muslims as the enemy/third column as long as we hold onto to our religion.

Let's be real what are you expecting from the secular west? These are the same people who have removed all their blasphemy laws, mock Jesus May peace be upon him in every possible way. In the recent Olympics during the opening ceremony they recreated 'The last Supper meal' of Jesus and his companions whilst portraying Jesus as a transgender.

Do you think they will care about mocking Islam and our beloved Prophet? It was only the repercussions of the Salman Rushdie case that put a hold to all of this. However, far right wing rhetoric has emboldened a lot of people and now the discourse is "If we support the idea of freedom speech, why is it that we can't burn the quran, mock Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί and Islam? Why is fear of retaliation from Muslims preventing us from our constitutional rights of free speech?"

I think in all honesty the honey moon period for Muslims in the west has come to an end. Lefties, woke culture, multiculturalism made things easier for a lot of immigrants but with the move to far right/nationalist idealogy things won't be so comfortable anymore imo.

the thing is that they see all immigration groups like that. do you think these people are any kinder to Christian Africans? Islam is just an excuse for them to kick out all Muslim immigrants. they'll even find a reason to kick out Chinese people if they gather enough bad will towards them. look at the expulsions of Jews and the Chinese Exclusion Act. minorities will always be blamed during troubled times.

our stay was never supposed to be eternal, we have our own country to return to. I hope its state will be better if the anti-immigrant discourse in the west gets worse.

The Chinese execution act was simply the result of jealousy the Chinese built the transcontinental railroad and bankrupted white business by selling better quality cheaper goods

19th century Cantonese immigrants are the reason there are china towns in the American west they were banned from immigrating until the 1940s

I agree after they are done with us they will turn to other minorities 100%. Thats why hispanics are targeted in states because they fear a great white replacement.

But for now they see Muslims as the greatest enemy, Europe has always had this view historically. From seeing the Berbers taking over Spain and reaching Toulouse in France, the Crusade fervour throughout europe to capture Jerusalem from the Saracens, the collapse of Constantinople the rise of the Ottomans and their Jihaad on mainland Europe reaching all the way to the gates of Austria Vienna.

It was always a war of the cross against the crescent in their minds. However, with the collapse of the Church and state, the rise of secularism it has toned down the historical sentiments. But now we are seeing even secularists follow in their Christian forefather footsteps, its a culturally ingrained fear of Muslims that has always permeated western discourse

This isn’t some 'game' being played here. It’s blatant provocation. A guy randomly showed up in front of the Turkish embassy, burned the Quran, and expected people to just watch. Any decent human can see through this. Stop being weak and letting the right wing bully you.

Absolutely not. This such a dumbass take. Why would I feed into his provocation by taking the bait. Also, I'm not feeling violent whenever someone does this. And if you do, seek help. Allah nor he prophet (pbuh) condoned violence. Also this seems like a provocation against turks specifically. The guy doing it might be a kurd

How authentic are these stories/narratives?
I believe these stories/narratives are not authentic.
what do you think?

I think it's far more powerful to invite these people to public debates, or to simply question their sanity and reasoning skills. In addition, calling for people to respect religions and use loacl laws to repress this foolishness.

People who do these things want notoriety, they crave it. It's an easy way to get fame and to get amnesty etc.

I am convinced this is why there are some radicalised Muslims, because there are people among us, who are easily fooled and overly emotional.
