Whilst im sure there are many gaalo somalis who would be beneficial to somalia. We also need to be careful and not let our kindness subvert the religion of the country.

I take back the ID idea but i donโ€™t think Somali gaalo should any massive political or economical power in Somalia.

We have something worse in Somalia.

We have people, who think they are Muslim, slaughtering people, for refusing to follow a certain political ideology. For example, what Siad Barre's regime did, and what happened in LaasCaanood. Not to mention, all the bullshit aano qabiil, etc, etc.

These are all people, who think they are good people, righteous even.

Situation 1
Somalia is mixed between atheists and Muslim. Muslim try to put in power muslim candidates. Atheists donโ€™t like that so they try and evangelise their world view until enough people either left islam or become hypocrites with it which is the worst case scenario.

Situation 2
Somalia has an closeted atheist population who cannot get political power and arenโ€™t allowed to spread their dogma. Somalia remains muslim.

The closeted atheists have institutions where they get dawah done by professionals who can answer every question and they become muslim again. The atheists who donโ€™t can either remain closeted. If they try to evangelise their atheistnimo they can be deported for destroying the peace.

Closeted just means you donโ€™t have to be a muslim publicly just donโ€™t be an advocate for diverging beliefs.
