My dad spent a good chunk of his life living all over kenya. He spent a few months working in marsabit and then in isiolo and he would always talk about how the massai people in those 2 towns (probably Samburas) looked like us and looked even more beautiful than some somalis. He also talked about how everyone in those towns be it somalis, oromos or massais would freely intermarry.

He also spent some time in Meru where he said everyone looked like short “bahalo indho gaduudan”, so it’s really a hit or miss with kenyans

I don't think so. They look in between and most often lean white. I cannot even tell they are half Somali 8 out of the 10 times. They have some weird Maghrebi/Latino/North African look.
