Being a great cooker is not a skill you are born with, it comes with practice. There are plenty of youtube tutorials to help you along the way. I owe my cooking to xawaash channel on youtube, they have helped me cook delicious meals over the years. I recommend it a thousand times

If it is a lady who works 9-5: I don’t think cooking should be expected of her. You better take in whatever burnt dishes she makes. Also, you have to be patient with her and help her in the kitchen since she’s helping you with paying the bills.
