hello SSPOTTERS
,

This is @Rastavelli-67 from SSPOT

I'm alive , I wouldn't be responding if that was the case.

What is is happening in KZN has an influence in Soweto and it's surroundings , the situation throughout the rest of the country remain relatively calm in most parts , there are concerns in some times , although police managed to quelled the attempted protests , however there is a tense atmosphere and we cannot predict wether what happened in Durban and Johannesburg can be replicated in Cape Town , thus precautions are carried out and curfews are being enforced, we are
uncertain since these are indeed worrisome , three days ago groups of young men tried to break into the stores, warehouses and Spazas in Khayelitsha , they were swiftly chased out thanks to the organised groups of people , communities Blacks , Coloureds , the police and the military coming together , including Somalis armed with just wooden poles .
Same in other townships Mitchell's plain , Gugulethu , we are also receiving leaflets to j to protect our premises , the Premier of the Western Cape has warned us about the possible dangers , so people are doing whatever they can to not allow protestors reach the city.
There were some fightings in the outskirts , within Xakabantu settlements , it is a deprived small fishing village that is predominantly black , it is at close proximity to a secluded affluent white district , we saw police cars driving fast and white residents fleeing towards the city.

We are watching very closely ,
there isn't any lootings throughout the Western Cape , only taxi wars which is Xhosa rivalry, nothing to do with the violence , unrests and nightmare erupting in the faraway provinces.

We hope that these problems are contained in the affected areas and not spread.

The sad reality is that and I want to address and try my best to summarise, we need to go back in time and look at
the large scale attrocities that took place against foreigners, innocent lives taken away, when these people survived their livelihoods by any means necessary, xenophobic crimes had always happened , but their plights and sorrows were overlooked , why weren't it considered pertinent as it is today , we may know why and that itself obviously is self explanatory,
the world may get to see a glimpse on what is going on today , but this domestic terrorism existed , for many many years, against us.
Nothing was done to contain that violence and it grew cancerous , the world turned a blind eye on us. Not even reassurance from the police chief to put in place measurements against African on African racism , in other words bitter xenophobia, I was watching live and the minister , the panelists and general questions to ordinary civillans they were disgusted and outraged and called on fellow blacks to stop targeting their fellow Indian and White countrymen , I was pissed off , the panelists outcrying but what about the thousands of murdered fellow Africans , what about what happens to their bodies in the morgue and when they are returned for burial , many are sewn from top to bottom. You can imagine the horror of what many had gone through , to be harvested , where are their rights , even their deaths are not respected, without their families consent.
That's the type of country we live in

So yeah , we are and will always be the underdogs, wether if some of us proceeded to obtain residency ,naturalisation statues or citizenships we are still the same Makwerere.

It is sad what is happening now.

Durban is burning , there isn't a single store that wasn't set alight , Phoenix is the only area that is kept alive, and I doubt that it will continue living, these problems would
further engulf , as many sectors , vital for the country's gross economy , essential stores , warehouses, malls ,pharmacies and the docking port to transport goods were pillaged , goods looted in bulk , the infrastructure is fucking crumbling , brick by brick , this country is regressing backwardly
just this week alone.

Durban is a strategic city , for those who didn't know , it holds the utmost importance since it is one of the country's bussiest port ,generating
60 % of revenue , domestic goods are imported and driven inward , connecting and linking cities the main highways N2 and N3 that go through Durban.
So you can understand how afflicting one city can make.
Unlike in Cape Town if N1 is troublesome , you can always divert to the other two main highways.

My perspective is that , you don't need to be be a rocket scientist to know that these deplorable actions were definetly eclipsed by opportunists , the exact manner how vandalism were justified to cause havoc on properties , chaotic nature of targeting people who are rarely indifferent ,
the murders and so called vigilantism against innocent people, ruled out , by these criminals , the same way xenophobia were conducted under the guise of ideals protectionism , such notions that foreigners are taking over the working sectors , when infact South Africa , is plagued , riddled with severe inequality, unemployment, mass corruption and mismanagement by the government, angry crowds people had their ways to blame these problems elsewhere, so this is totally not something new , this was politically orchestrated and we see how one province can influence other municipalities, all it takes to set the torch are public speeches inciting hatred and gathering rallies.
Yes these politicians are holding the country hostage , South Africans didn't bat an eye whenever these criminals looted and killed Makwereres , they overlooked at our plight
but now they turned on their very own and are going through what many of us had gone through all over the years.

Must I remind you, that many of these premises are neither informal bussinesses nor owned by "non SA Africans" , these are predominant South African enterprises , besides the outbreak of the intercommunal violence btw South Africans , like the Nguni-Abantu ( large groups of black people) targeting Indian and White bussiness owners , there are millions of blacks living beneath the poverty line , affected by disproportionate unemployment , it was these bussinesses that gave them flourishing opportunities , which included employing and training labourers to their workforce , providing services to these communities , I'm talking about the stores, warehouses , since these are essential ,
prime food stables , bussinesses, what is erupting now is equivalent to someone burning his own house , his own fucking source of food, so thus far bigger troubles are ahead , since this isn't about the political delijnquent anymore , it's more of lawlessness and hooliganism channelled politically , etc.

Second is that these hordes looters may enjoy the grab while it lasts, once these disposable products are consumed they are being back at square one , only to find that they pretty much deprived all the essential necessities in this province , it's these types of people that impacted many lives , reasons we see thousands of people to wait in-line in the untouched malls , whatever premises is left in KZN.

Looting TV and electronics hardwares ,
is not a good excuse for being hungry , it just tells you their ulterior motives from the start , to inflict damage without any repurcussions according to their logic, the sad thing is that the power grids was heavily affected , there are power cuts , so that flat screen is just useless.

The situations are currently deteriorating , as I'm writing , the main supply chains are crippling the entire country, the highway is blocked as KZN is up in flames.

You know what is even more disgraceful , people that are angry at the incarnation of Jacob zuma , that same politician, who is responsible for looting and stole their wealth , these elite people that give f*ck all to their lives , they be living a lavish lifestyle , the privileges they deny their fellow people.
Now you have his son , urging his followers to start a war , it's online go check that out.

So these people are not only destroying everything that was built for them, the mass scale of lootings as a consequence created chain reactions of insecurities , such as food shortages, health sectors shutting down, emergency services diminishing, like I mentioned earlier people cannot buy goods anywhere , the untouched malls , now is queued up and you are required to buy a ticket , only few people are allowed to enter in such small capacity , just imagine that
, ATMs are damaged , blown to smithereens , nowhere to withdraw money , people that suffer from chronic and various diseases including Somali nationals (especially the elderly and the wounded) are at a higher risk to be in grave danger, so you have all these problems in Soweto and KZN, right now , the people of Soweto are cleaning up the mess.
Soweto residents are now waking up , regretting.

Nelson Mandela who fought for , self determination , justice and equality for his people , would be outraged if he were alive to witness how the South African leadership degraded in such a short span of time.

And 1994 is not that long ago , sxb.
