Nah. I agree about not caring about darbi kaboods and indho yars tho. But black Americans really believe we are one of the biggest oppressors of them because of mean internet comments from trolls.

If you go on their forums they claim we aren’t black like them (they have this smoke for people from north Sudan too) and use it to mock our people who are victims of famine, fgm, and our features. They rationalize it using the same thing “anti blackness in the Somali community”

Literally!!! I’m also tired of everything being about race for them. They tie “fatphobia” and black people who are actually in the wrong being convinced/hated on to anti blackness. Them and Jews always gotta bring identity into everything. Especially at my university.

It’s not PC to say it out loud but most people are tired of the victim narrative & being accused of anti-blackness for calling a black person out. There is an rw cultural shift due stuff like online cancellations and false racism accusations. This is why Trump made gains with non-black minority voters and young people

Wht ive learned about them is when they are few they are "nice" but if there is many of them they are racist in ur face like in california and texas. Also madows in america arent anti somali like those madows in the uk. Every time some1 talks ish about somalis its always another madow african ive seen. In cali madows and somalis dont fight. Last week on Twitter when they were talking about who some music chart would rank as the best/successful pop star of the 21st century and people said it would be Taylor Swift over Beyoncé because she sold more albums and just much more successful overall in every category they were crying that it’s because of anti blackness and racism like what?

On lipstick alley annd Twitter any drama that involves a black person and a person who isn’t black they claim it’s racism.

Back when I was on 16 on stan twitter and everyone was on that blm high they were running off and bullying White, Asian, Somali teenagers off the app because they “didn’t tweet about blm” or we’re doing digital blackface by using too many memes of black people and not specifying their race (mind you they didn’t use any slurs or make racist jokes)

I think we’re a sensitive group tbh you see racist posts/vids/comments everyday on every site but we seem to really take it to heart. I think it’s because even racist comments with 5 likes are posted on here which amplifies it when in reality it’s not that bad
