Good on him. As-long as the money reaches his native areas: Oodweyne, West Burco and Sanaag he should consider
himself a proud member of WADANI.

Disgusting:susp:

I wouldn't care where my money goes whether it's to a dying isaaq kid or a dying Hawiye kid.

A dying starving kid is a dying starving kid! :ivers:

I somewhat agree but @Duke of Bohol has a point since (sadly) the most efficient and effective way to donate/send money is via clan networks since (some) charities are unscrupulous with the money that they're supposed to distribute + there is minimal transparency.

I personally donated half of my contributions to my family/area and the other half to the respected charity Somali Faces as they target all areas affected (regardless of qabil) and they constantly post updates to my Inbox.

Charity starts at home, donate to your clan first. That's how it works. I donated to actual families and we sent the money directly to them. Document the names, towns, get the head of the family and contact them so they can collect it from dahabshil.

Yes that's exactly what I done first (family first) + me and my family are part of a watsapp group to follow developments as well with (almost) full transparency since the guys on the ground explain everything from the money received by individuals/family to the provisions that will be distributed to each family.

Regardless, even without watsapp/modern technology, you can always trust your qabil/family.
