Local clans are part of Shabab but they are merely foot soldiers, Raxanweyn last major leader Abu Mansuur even understood the Hawiya game and left, the top leaders are Hawiya and they control the finance, intelligence and leadership. Dir guy Abu Ubaidah is nearly dead from cancer and Shabab is now run by a 10 man Shuura 5 which are Hawiye 2 Darood, 2 Raxanwey, 1 Isaaq, its pure fact.
