6.9% means that Mogadishu is adding 150,000 people each year.


That is like adding a Baydhabo each year. I am guessing the majority are IDPs. I have no doubt its population is closer to 3 million than 2 million. Mogadishu is well planned and has a grid which helps it cope. If this were not the case it would have been a disaster.
