Somalia's GDP was said to be $12.49 Billion according to the IMF as of 2024. What would you predict it to be? Informal economy included would be much closer to at least $30 billion in my opinion.

It’s actually 13.7 billion according to ImF 2023

generally partnering with india on development and trade is a very good idea all around, but that would bring with it the issue of having a lot more indians in the country. can you trust somalis/indians to not be xaasid to each other?? whatever that future brings is objectively better than the current situation either way

There is already a good amount of South Asians in Somalia working in construction

All the ports and airports should be owned by the state.
That profits will not stay in Somalia it will siphoned off abroad.
So who benefits??

The airport needs to be moved outside the city the land it sits on needs to be added into an extended port inshallah.
