We're gonna ditch oil like France has. Arabs will become irrelevant since they live on their oil. We can be as rich as they were thanks to uranium...
We won't be since we have old men in parliament and qabiilists. Hope that made sense:damedamn:

Oh i see what you mean , that makes so much sense and it would actually be amazing if we did , BUT its somalia we are taking about here. so...

:kendrickcry::meleshame: i don't know what to say to this wallahi i feel ashamed

As Sun Tzu wrote, if you know your enemies and you know yourself, you will be victorious in all your battles and never suffer defeat. This statement is very profound if you reflect upon it.

The first stage to battle this which you can begin right now is to make as much people as you can aware of the problem to get their blood boiling too and never underestimate your work, the most critical part of this journey is to pinpoint the exact source of the problems, many people know there are problems but very few KNOW the exact source of this.

This is the most critical part in "knowing your enemy" because most Somali's blame anyone from the lowly corrupt politician, to different clan's, to the mercenary disposable foot soldier al-shabab.

I have even seen some blame the victims for their problems like the innocent shoe-shiners and the poor toilet cleaners but never the main culprits & kingpins at the top that facilitate all of this.

If the conclusions are wrong, the studies and the knowledge obtained from it are worthless, hence why you have all this tribal wars on here, each person is busy blaming another clan for the problems ignoring the chess masters at the top.

These types of people along with the ones that are not even conscious are the dupery cheap fuel they rely on to keep the status quo going and until you wake up sufficient number of these people (whom will wake up more themselves) this battle would never be won and you can forget any kind of stratagem because the hordes of dupes alone will bury you into the ground before you even begin any work.

I'm doing what i can , like telling my family and friends and what not but i don't have a large online following nor do i have a large influence in anything i plan to but thats just that a plan.

Resources really are a curse. Notice how Muslim countries east of the Indian Ocean are never infiltrated with terrorist groups so they can swoop in and save the day. I kind of wish somalia was located in east asia :ftw9nwa:

@shan-futo-le

Have you been to Somalia ever ?

The people over there will not revolt or do anything. There is no motivation to better their lives, all they do is sit down all day and relish the glorious past, our parents generation living in Somalia is finished. Their only concern is to pass time and obtain money without working hard.

The Somalis living in Somalia are absolutely useless and I would even say the Madows are better than them, the Madows are farmers and plumbers and they do all the hard labouring while the ethnic somalis don't do shit.

In conclusion, I do not see the situation in Somalia changing at all and if there was by chance a revolt to happen it would be because the youth have stepped up and decided to take the matters in their own hands. But the youth back home are absolutely Qasaaro. They are extremely promiscuous and all they think about is the opposite gender the whole day.

Somalis back home do not own up to their mistakes and will blame anyone and everyone but themselves. They deserve the situation they put themselves in.

Those stupid old men living back home are soo useless and piss me off, their only purpose on earth is to marry like 10 different wives and populate their villages with their stupid children who won't amount to anything and will either join street gangs or join Al-shabaab since there isn't enough money to send them to school or anything.

Feel Sorry for the Somali Hoyos back home, they are struggling with their kids and leaving the house daily to search for food while the Men can't even take back their country and strive for improvement.

Somali men mainly Odeys, have failed Somalia, Somali women, Islam etc..

Firstly yes i have been to somali , or somaliland to be exact

Secondly you're telling me like i didn't already know the situation over there. I said we NEED to revolt not we SHOULD'VE big difference , its just wishful thinking and never say never my friend we just need to rekindle hope in these people many of them grew up hearing and seeing nothing but hopelessness, A good pro somali propaganda should do tbh .

As for the blaming , its because over there the people are brainwashed to think that we somalis do nothing wrong rather its everyone around us that is wrong , again they just need to be informed and stop being fed nonsense , if you read youtube comments on videos regarding somalia you will see plenty of Somali's saying shit like "why can't we get our shit together" or "we somalis are truly so stupid if only we can unite" etc etc concluding that YES they do want change they just don't know how to go about doing it.

Its plenty stupid of you to generalise a group of people who have been through poverty , war and drought among other situations i'm sure some are as fed up as we are , and we're not even the ones going through half that shit ...they are.

The revolution has started in Jan when Somalis around the world celebrated farmaajo 'S winning. The people are with farmaajo, the problem right now is corrupted elites that benefited from Somalia 'S civil war for past 20 years, plus Ethiopia 'S stooges in Somalia are still operating through the states.

I would say that was more of a approval ... or a celebration if you will a revolution in my opinion is when people show a strong opposing front against their government in a rather 'aggressive' way , telling their government that we strongly don't like what you're doing and we demand change the way WE want or else we're gonna get rid of you.

this is a very difficult task walahi, but im pretty confident we're gonna get out of this mess, alot of ppl are waking up to the bullshit we've been told (even tho some choose to support only because of qabiil).

What does reading youtube comments have to do with anything ? Since when did people living in Somalia have internet to comment on youtube.
I'm sorry just because the diasporans call for a change does not mean the People living in Somalia want a change.

Generalization or not my point still stands, the people of Somalia are not motivated enough to make a difference, it does not matter if we are frustrated we can not do anything to help them besides sending aid money. Like I said the power relies with their youth to shoulder the responsibility and call for a change. The older generation is finished.

I don't know why you are voiding them of responsibility, so many other african countries went through similar trials and look at them now...

Look at Botswana and how they are superior to us..

Stop making excuses for the people there saying how they are brainwashed and went through trials..
So many other countries went through them and came back

Somalia needs a dictatorship..

Somali's don't have internet??? ...... wrong they do , and they comment on videos regarding matters and the affairs in somalia via youtube videos that was just an example i used to cite the fact that somali's ESPECIALLY the youth want change and their willing to do anything they can to get that change they just don't know HOW.

The hopelessness i as talking about is evident in your paragraphs its sad. The older generation have built businesses form dahabshill to telecom , telesom and yes even a wifi providing establishment. They are entrepreneurs and it won't take long for you to compile lists of them and their achievements ,they have done their best to recuperate the somali economy by building cooperation that employs many but that is simply not enough , to tackle the government and its many issues.

To say the older generation has done NOTHING is a huge accusation on your part and to say the entirety of the Somali people are not motivated without even giving them a chance and reigniting hope in them is very sad. I'm not avoiding them of responsibility like is said earlier they need to be informed that they are responsible via video or propaganda like outlet of some sort so that they are aware of whats happening and how they are directly and indirectly wrapped up in this useless state somalia is in.

Of course Somalis have internet.. Only the wealthy ones or those that are well off which is a very minority of the population. No matter..

Like I said the Older Generation may have had a glorious past but it surely stayed in the past. What are they up to now?
Of course I am aware of all the telecommunications and other companies established but those people that did it are well off and are extremely rich right now and do not represent the majority of the population.
My uncle is a share holder of Hormuud Telecommunications, and guess what only his immediate family members and cousins are employed which means other citizens are not employed and given a chance.

I have been to Somalia several times and I met many people and I have conversed with them which I am basing my conclusions off, my statements are not appearing out of thin air.

It is not hopelessness, I am just being realistic.. If anything you are putting too much faith into the Somali people just don't be disappointed when nothing happens and things stay the same.

I would love to be proved wrong tho :manny:

Another thing our experiences may be different since we are from different regions of Somalia.

ThreeTwentyOne

It's too damn HOT!
yup that is the only reason why the west went into Somalia in the first place. Natural resources and minerals have been their reason to put us down and dump nuclear waste in our waters. It's how America destroyed the middle east with their meddling greed.

You're right about the poor not having access to Wifi but we had access and we weren't super rich but we weren't poor either , i have met a lot of somali's up north and they have lost hope in Somalia and want to become a separate country in the hopes that recognition will somehow bring the revival of somaliland's economy(via access to trade with other countries) like that will help with government related issues and lack of trust in the government they are very deluded , I gave those example of the older generation because your previous post suggested that they did nothing for us or for somalia,

If not hopelessness why else do you think somalis are not willing to retaliate if not for hopelessness why else would they delude themselves and not face the truth.

Insh'allah we rise from this, we HAVE to ..."when at the bottom the only way is up" they say :rejoice:

I hope Somalia changes for the better sooner rather than later, imagine how excellent a fully functioning Somalia would be...

Nothing better than being with your own people and working hard together to bring about change reaping the rewards together :win:

It's always been a dream of mine to take a road trip through Soomaaliweyn.

Drinking tea with nomads on the outskirts of Jigjigga, hiking the hills of Sanaag, sailing off the Bari coast, traveling with a nomad convoy in Mudug, canoeing through the mighty Shabelle in Beledweyne, eating fresh fruit during harvest time in Lower Shabelle, trekking through the wetlands of the Jubbas, surfing off the coast of Kismaayo.
