I'm very offended by this. It's a delicacy enjoyed in Oman and Bahrain. Probably came to us from there through trade

Xalwo is actually made similar to hard candy, but we added oil instead of water. I think it's better than any hard candy due to it feels like gummy worms

Bro I tried that once, and my stomach was finished. Xalwo is probably one of the worst foods to eat for your health, but I'm not gonna lie I like eating it occasionally especially when it's a day or 2 old and forms an outer crust.

My fav somali snack is qumbo caano, I can finish a whole plate by myself
