My prediction of Somali politics for the upcoming 20 months!!

I've made more than 20 predictions in this thread plenty of them came true already:

• Ahmed Madobe forming his own electoral commission and winning it.
• Shabaab regaining ground in south central Somalia.
• Awdal not raising up against Somaliland.
• Warsangali not agreeing to join SSC (dhulbahante elders went to Badhan and only came back with a promise to recapture Erigavo), anything can happen in the future tho.
• Ethiopia gradually retreating from the MOU they signed with Somaliland.

Somaliland losing Erigavo was also in the prediction but Harti elders postponed the attack until PL finish off ISIS in Almiskaat mountains.
Muse bihi rigging the election was a wrong prediction.

But the rest of the predictions are pending and will see what happens for the next two years.

Ceerigaabo has been peaceful ever since the security intervention. In fact I would go on to say it is the safest city in the North.

How can Somaliland “lose” Ceerigaabo but warsangeli won’t join ssc? So what happens to the city then?

Not sure if you read the result of the conference between dhulbahante and Warsangali elders back in February, they all agreed that they'd capture the city but only under the tribal name of "Harti", so no SSC, PL or Makhir etc. they'll capture the city and then hold a larger conference afterwards to decide how they'll rule it.
