Ameen so scary how we are now an easy target for everyone, especially in the uk where we were always hated unprovoked. I csnt wait to leave this country that's against us.

maybe this is a UK issue mostly? I never really got racism here in the Netherlands and people don't really have negative stereotypes towards Somalis most people don't really know about our existence. but the UK diaspora is one of the biggest in the West so that might play a big part, especially in the post-Brexit UK where every foreigner is treated with suspicion.

We are an easy target here hence why his bravery in mocking somali girls infront of her. You can be racist to a somali and not get any repercussion here because we don't have any protection. Even other arab girls are attacking somali girls physically and got away with it

is the UK really that lawless of a place? I think physical assault would warrant an arrest no? The biggest issues I have had with racist Arabs came from annoying Moroccans but they never dared to touch me.

The police aren't taken seriously here they're weak. And they were apparently Moroccan the girls that attacked the somali girls.

there's a stronger gang culture there too I noticed. They're using Somali words in uk drill same as Toronto Somali. misguided young men join these groups and worsen our reputation. also combined with worse economic circumstances and social housing putting them into bad neighbourhoods is a recipe for a lot of trouble.
