A part from the Qalbidhagax scandal and the recent one siding with Saudi Arabia over Turkey in the Khashoggi killing I can’t pinpoint anything that this government has done wrong that destabilizes national interests this government has been in office 1 year and 9 months and people are so critical of it like they’ve been in power for 15 years it’s amazing how the Zooomali brain functions

Qalbi dhagax and Turkey are irrelevant saxiib. Most people are mad at the daily political and security destabilization. The young best and brightest ministers are being assassinated in broad daylight and ex al Shabab are being promoted to these high government positions . The U.N. has concluded Al Shabab , a terrorist group, has infiltrated NISA and other government groups. They also noted that al Shabab is stronger now than it has been in recent years they also highlight the fact that al Shabab is ran with no financial issues no clan qabyaalad , etc which is the exact opposite of the Somali government which is suppose to be “fighting” al Shabab

They were wrong for sending that letter in support of Saudi Arabia after the Saudis butchered the journalist.

I am still not 100% sure about what happened in the Qalbi Dhagax situation, the whole thing is fishy. Furthermore people are forgetting that it was Galmudug that hand the man over.

Anyways you are right, this dowlad is not corrupt and actually cares about Somalis.

There are certain groups who hate the progress of this dowlad, and when Somalia is back on its feet, we will never forget the actions of those traitors.

Even the UK cannot stop terrorist attacks in Westminster. Al Shabaab have brainwashed youngsters, this is an ideological war that needs to be fought by the Somali people everywhere not just the dowlad. The fight against Al Shabaab can begin even with you, even me.

The actions the dowlad can take is : intelligence gathering, reduction in corruption, increasing security measures in Xamar, stopping funding to Al Shabaab and taking the war to them.

So far the dowlad has:

1) reduced corruption and increased transparency, so much that is has been recognised by the IMF and the EU, who for the first time have given money directly to Somalia.

2) Increased funding for NISA

3) Created road blocks and more checks in Xamar.

4)Is trying to stop the charcoal trade of Al Shabaab. Complained to the UN about the Arab countries buying charcoal.

5) Taken back territory from Al Shabaab. Soldiers of the SNA have not missed a single months wages since the new dowlad, allowing them to actually fight Al Shabaab and not loot innocent people.

This is why I support the dowlad.

Do you have anything of intelligence to add to this discussion?

Yes

1. Corruption is on the rise in somalia. The United States military cut off funding for SNA because of corruption . The new U.N. report on somalia is awash with proof of ongoing corruption under Farmajo

2. NISA has been taken over by al Shabab according to the U.N. but that’s no surprise if you’ve been paying attention to who’s been leading NISA. Fahad Yasin the long time Qatari propagandist and agent has been formally named an agent of Qatar. His 2nd in command Zakariye Ali was the intelligence chief for Al Shabab

3. It seems like there’s less road blocks and checks in xamar on Failmaajos watch. That truck bomb that killed 500 last year is proof

4. That was just lip service Failmaajo knows what’s really going on in JL. Ahmed Madoobe is still Al Shabab according to the U.N. report his government and al Shabab are profiting off the same coal shipments

5. Al Shabab has actually been gaining territory back. They now even control parts of the Somali government in Mogadishu. They have access to uniforms of the Somali Soldiers. They have access to checkpoints to let any vehicle they want pass through.

Those road blocks? Trash. They ain't helping with security. If you bribe some of them they might let you through.

@Pureblood If you're a nacas don't tell us. Less road blocks kulahaa.

A roadblock not actually functioning the way it was intended shouldn’t still be called a roadblock. That’s why I said less. It might as well not be there. It’s clear roadbloacks aren’t functioning the way they use to

1) The US reduced funding due to a report on HSM dowlad, the new dowlad had barely anytime to make its stamp yet, when that decision was made. If it corruption has increased since Farmaajo took office, then why did the financial audits by the IMF and the EU praise the dowlad for increased transparency and reduced corruption?

2) The UN is a not united when it comes to its approach to Somalia. Keating one day praises Somalia for its reduction in corruption and then someone else says another thing another day.

3) If you knew anything about Xamar you would know that road blocks and checks have increased, so much so that the locals are complaining that they increase traffic jams.

4) You have just proven my point. Madoobe is in bed with Al Shabaab and their illegal charcoal trade, ans guess who has been trying to get rid of the corrupt Madoobe since day one?......and the answer is the dowlad.

5) The last one is blatant lie, Al Shabaab have been losing territory. Al Shabaab buying or making fake SNA uniforms does not prove anything.

Finally I never said that this dowlad has fixed Somalia and made all its problems go away. The problems still exist, but at least this dowlad is trying to do something. Sometimes their actions are effective and sometimes they are not.

This report is more of a summary of the things that have happened in Somalia, that we all are aware of, There is nothing new here and certainly nothing to suggest that "Somalia is at its worst state since 2011".

Most of the points of this report actually address the problems caused by the troublesome federal states and that includes your beloved Somaliland.

After reading the most important parts of the document I have come to the conclusion that you either didn’t fully read or failed to understand the contents of the document for example look here:

C55474B0-7EA3-47D6-B055-C875719D17A7.jpeg

37A621A1-78C8-44EE-A269-022AA3364791.jpeg
These allegations are just what they are allegations with no definitive proof of corruption in fact the international financial institutions praised the government for their financial reforms the government responded to the allegations and will submit the required documents at a “mutually agreeable” so there’s that for your “rampant corruption” notion

Secondly in your notion that Al Shabab terror group has gotten stronger well there’s this

01E67453-C6ED-492A-9392-5E669FA5CDBF.jpeg

Al Shabab holds all of their territory in places that’s politically out of Federal government hands they are in the regional governments territory if you had read the document you would know that so I fail to see how Al Shabab gaining strength in the region government territories is the federal governments fault as you know politically they are at loggerheads over security and finance with the regional governments even going so far as cutting ties to the federal government in Mogadishu

But besides all that if you read the document it says Al Shabab is only able to conduct “occasional conventional attack” against AMISOM and government troops that doesn’t sound like an organization gaining territory and strength it also says “asymmetrical attacks” have not been degraded well sorry to break it to but asymmetrical warfare like suicide bombing, shootings, still happen even in America and Europe, Western governments are even unable to stop these attacks and your critiquing a dirt poor African country that is trying to rise up to actually becoming a functioning state? Quite immature if you ask me
