How can abgaals not defend their land when they’re majority in southern SNA army ?

Only in their region and they r useless cant free middle Shabelle till now. Gorgor and danab are mixed but those in Hiiraan who fought in Hiiraan initially they moved to the Abgaal villages but they r putting all of them in the frontline how can 8 Hawadle be killed in one village? I’m hearing the military post had about 200/300 troops of gorgor and macawisley(mostly weceysle) and AS wiped them out in a 4hr clash and the Eritrean soldiers nearby rescued whoever survived and pushed AS out.

AS burned everything to the ground including vehicles before leaving. Aun to the dead god knows how many died surely more than 20

Yes why do you need to defend quite deep inside middle shabelle? I thought al shabab were completely wiped out from there. You should only need to protect the border territories as @The Midlands have said.

The main issues, is After the SNA and Macwisley capture lands they dont stay with the same strength.

If 400 troops take an area, 250 will leave for offensives or breaks, and another 150 will stay.

This 150 that stays can not defend Large towns or Villages far from back up support

The troops are not equipped with Walki talkies, and Phones can be intercepted " Alshabaab Have people in Telecommunications companies and they pay them for info"

The main issues is that it is easy to capture lands from Alshabaab, but defending against Counter Attacks is harder, especially in areas that have Thick Vegetation, No drones, and Muddy roads where cars/trucks get stuck.

ALshabaab use the areas advantages and attack and leave before back up arrivies.

They attack at night or early morning to hide from drones " drones cant tell who is who, alshabaab wear military uniforms too, causing the drone operators to get confused. They also use their Tecnicals in the same way SNA do so its hard to tell from a drone camera who is who.

SNA needs to address this issues or Alshabaab will continue these hit and run attacks.

If Runirgood falls to Shabaab, Adan Yabaal will fall in seconds and if Adan Yabaal falls they will be right next door to Moqokori

So how is the war offensive going to work in lands where the clans won’t fight against Shabab(like HG/Xawaadle/Abgaal have done) but side with them as in Lower Shabelle, Bay, Bakool, Middle Jubba, West Hiiraan? Where are the troops going to come from? Who is going to be defending the land from counter strikes?
