For example, humans around the world have been getting taller for the last couple of decades, but the gap between human groups, although narrowed, remains. Asians are still shorter than Europeans today for example, despite them being taller on average than early 20th century Europeans. There are genetic limits to every group, even if there is growth to be had from better environment.

Somalia was spared from this economic colonization due to the war, but more recently there has been a scramble for the country by many foreign influences. It's a tragic situation, and only drastic measures will possibly reverse the trend.
