A lot of somalis believe oil and natural resources would take the country out of poverty, but even if we did it won't make us prosperous because we lack human capital, if the majority of the people are illiterate, then give up hope on any innovation. South Korea and Germany are more prosperous than Saudi and Russia because of their human capital.
