seriously though, what do you do to maintain your weight? We are known as skinny but my weight fluctuations so much while it seems like all people around me are doing a good job of keeping themselves at a healthy wait.

I never had this problem on my teens and early 20s. I was naturally skinny. Something went wrong somewhere along the lines.

I used never care what I eat. Now, I have to be mindful.

It's basically like this notice I've gained lot's of weight. Go on a whole food plant based diet + exercise + count calories and weight myself = healthy weight again

Become lazy and eat whatever

Notice I've gained lots of weight... You get the point

Not nice

I'm not "naturally" skinny and can balloon up easy if I eat wrong but I was basically the typical lanky kid until I hit 9-10 and had a 4 year romance with junk food of all kinds until I got ahold of myself. Nowadays I'm not in the kind of muscular and shredded shape I was once in but I'm at a pretty healthy and lean weight with a good heart rate, blood-pressure and hip to waist ratio without working out even a little bit, with sometimes poor sleep and nowadays honestly a lot of stress in my day to day life at times. I do this by simply eating more or less like an old-school geeljire:
  • Lots of fatty meats and offal like liver and kidneys
  • Dairy: yogurt, milk, cheese and ghee/butter
  • Eggs
  • Seafood: salmon, tuna and shrimps
  • Bit of fruit: grapes, dates and various sorts of berries
  • Bit of raw honey
You will never in your life get fat, I assure you. Been sporting the same physique, weight and size now for years with zero effort. And a lot of it is sinfully delicious and satiating and you can eat it in many different ways and combinations. It's basically like the "carnivore" diet these westerners are wilding for nowadays but with a little more variety than just meat with some fruit and raw honey thrown in as they are whole foods that don't digest like refined carbs and should honestly be fine. I don't go too wild with them or feel the need to but still.

Just avoid stuff like processed foods of any kind, grains and vegetable oils and you should be good, to be honest. I mostly just avoid things like veggies, nuts and seeds due to digestive issues they've caused me but they'd never really fatten anyone, especially vegetables.

I'm telling you guys and girls there is something more fundamental going on

I found this text to be completely true

"Scientists have been working to understand why those who lose weight almost always regain it — offering lessons for all adults, regardless of size. Here's a sobering statistic: Roughly 90 percent of people who lose a lot of weight eventually regain just about all of it."

90%

It is mostly calorie consumption. Genetics has little to do with how much people weigh, perhaps only like 10% of people have bad genetics for weight control. For 90% is all about calories.

I had a roommate who was very skinny and claimed he eats whatever he wants and never gains weight, but then while I was living with him I noticed he often skipped breakfast and ate very little. So take those claims of ''I can eat whatever I want and not gain weight'' with a grain of salt.

I have the worst diet I’m wondering when it’s going to catch up to me. :patrice:
In my teen, I used to eat takeout with my friends then come home an eat a whole meal and not gain weight.

If I did that today I would balloon

Enjoy, your great metabolism while you still have it

That’s because people view the changes they make as short term diet goals to achieve a certain weight. You need to shift your mental attitude to your new ‘healthy normal’. And make the goal one of health and vitality not a number on a scale or clothes size.

You gotta start loving your body - seems dramatic thing to say I know, but that’s what it boils down to. If you love your body you won’t treat it like a bin.

Stop eating too much huuno, or better yet stop being in love with food. Eat once a day

It's natural sxb, your metabolism's slowing down and hormone production, namely Testosterone, starts dropping after your 20s. It literally all just boils down to calories in/calories out, so you have to track what you're eating/macros everyday.

If you're not already lifting, I'd start ASAP, otherwise you're gna look like cottage cheese stuffed into a sock by 35 wallahi.
