Yh this is absolutely true this much I will never deny, these trolls have caused unfathomable damage.

If you think the trolls started all this I’ve got a bridge to sell to you,they’ve always hated us there’s no social media in the late 90s and early 2000s yet they always bullied and made fun of Somalis

The hate would have been easy to ignore if most of us had great incomes and literally didn't have to share spaces with these ignorant people. We still have a lot of low income somalis that are stuck living around a bunch of ignorant people.

The trolls definitely played a big part in the beginning but it’s gotten past that now. Now it’s just racism for no reason. I used to see a lot of anti Somali men tweets mocking their appearance on UK twitter over the past few years unprovoked and it came from UK blacks. Even after blm they were making these tweets. And it’s just gotten worse because of people like yusuf. It’s spread to american j*reers. And now they try and gaslight Somalis into believing we’re the most anti black group.

We could’ve stayed quiet over the past few years and had no trolls and can we say for certain these people still wouldn’t have been racist to us? No. They’ve been doing it unprovoked for a long time.

No, what people are refusing to address is how SLOW some of these men are. They act like little children who have no impulse control or understanding of consequences. A blk male might compliment somali women or make a light joke abt somalis, incel gets upset and starts speaking in hitlerian and when other people start branding us as racists he gets ANGRY waba dad waalan.

They didn’t stop though. Influencers were worried about being cancelled but when influencers were called out for anti Somali sentiment from Somalis, I’d always see comments from mathows defending it.

I don’t know if you remember but there was a Somali Uber driver who was accused of kidnapping a j*reer woman in the UK and she posted his face and everything on twitter. There were comments from mathows insulting his looks. Turns out she made it all up and she was anti somali.

I have always said that the incels have made things worse for us but at this point you can’t just blame them anymore. If they didn’t exist, Somalis could’ve still received this level of hate from mathows. They are not the only reason for it. A lot of it is unprovoked and has been for years. It’s just reached a larger audience now.
