While I do suspect that they will get a significant boost in turn out this election, it's unlikely for them to become the second largest poltical party in Germany. The AfD had worse results in 2021 vs 2017.

American growth is really in a few states that are absolutely booming like Texas and florida and places like Tennessee and Nevada which have turned themselves from economic backwaters into powerhouses
The middle part of the country is underperforming similar to Europe but there potential for high growth like in Idaho and Utah although Iowa a major world producer of corn has gotten rich because of its trade with China
